The museum was remodeled by Adolfo Natalini in 1995. The collection was reorganized and monitored by Anna Maria Giusti according to a thematic criterium: in the rooms made from the big hall are located all the productions of the Medici and Lorena Grand Dukes period. In the small nineteenth-century halls all the works of the post-union period. The mezzanine is dedicated to the work techniques. From the rich selection of gravestones and its tools to the didactic explaination of the production stages of tarsus and carving. All the entire process can be retraced from the idea to the finished work and discover all the most intimate mechanisms of a fascinating episode of the artistic history of Florence
