Founded in 1870 and dedicated to Alessandro Manzoni from 1873, Teatro Manzoni is one of the most prestigious Italian theaters. Located in the center of Milan, in the heart of the high-fashion district, not far from via Montenapoleone and Piazza della Scala, the present structure of the Theatre was conceived in 1950. The wide atrium, the elegant foyer and the theatre hall with its capacity of 842 seats are decorated with canvas by Achille Funi and sculptures by Leone Lodi.
