Venue
The Museum of Palazzo Davanzati – also known as the Museo dell’Antica Casa Fiorentina – was opened as a State museum in 1956. The impressive facade of the Palazzo, the ancient fourteenth-century residence of the Davizzi family, wealthy merchants and bankers, overlooks the namesake piazza once populated by ancient tower-houses.

Accessible from pavement near the entrance and from via Pellicceria. Please inform staff (there is no doorbell) so that they can place the ramp at the main door: there is a step up of 12cm and a step down of 6cm (raised threshold). The lift (of adequate size, 80cm doors) leads to the upper floor; between all rooms there are raised thresholds (max. 6cm).
There are accessible toilets both on the ground floor and on the upper floor.
