Col nome di A Dying Dream hanno rilasciato un EP, Now or Never sotto l'etichetta Frontline Records. Un anno dopo hanno firmato per Mediashake Records, registrando e facendo uscire nuovamente l'EP con una traccia bonus e un video live. Poco tempo dopo hanno ambiato nome in The Ghost Inside, incidendo un LP dal titolo Fury and The Fallen Ones. Il loro secondo album, intitolaTO Returners, è stato rilasciato l'8 giugno 2010.
La band è andata in tour con gruppi come A Day to Remember, I Killed the Prom Queen, Stick to Your Guns, Set Your Goals, Deez Nuts, August Burns Red, Misery Signals, Bleeding Through, Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction and The Devil Wears Prada.
La prima release per Epitaph Records "Get What You Give" è stata prodotta da Jeremy McKinnon degli A Day To Remember e ha debuttato alla n°88 della Billboard Top 200
