L’Orchestra Sinfonica Brutia viene costituita il 27 gennaio 2022 dal Comune di Cosenza e dal Conservatorio “S.Giacomantonio” di Cosenza. L’Orchestra Sinfonica Brutia nasce in una città sede di un prestigioso Teatro di Tradizione, intitolato al musicista Alfonso Rendano, che ne diventa sede legale ed operativa. Presieduta dal Sindaco della città, avv. Franz Caruso, è guidata artisticamente dal Direttore del Conservatorio Giacomantonio, M° Francesco Perri, compositore e direttore d’orchestra.
