All'età di 15 anni decise di esibirsi in oratorio, davanti ad un pubblico poco numeroso. Con il tempo decise di avviarsi alla recitazione comica in chiave professionale, anche con l'aiuto dell'attore Gianni Cajafa.
Il suo debutto avvenne l'8 giugno 1991, nel locale milanese "La Corte dei Miracoli".
Nel 2003 ha presentato su Rai Due con Valeria Marini lo show BravoGrazie.
É tifoso della Juventus e del Legnano.
É figlio dell'attore Raffaele Pisu.
