L’esordio discografico della band risale al 2015 con Soul Insight, pubblicato sull’etichetta Evil Teen Records di Warren Haynes, che ottiene un notevole successo e raggiunge la posizione numero della Blues Album Chart di Billboard. Il secondo album, The Marcus King Band (Fantasy Records, 2016) è un progetto che mette in luce le più alte qualità di King con il suo Southern rock psichedelico influenzato dal soul, e ospita un gran numero di mentori e collaboratori tra cui Dereck Trucks e Warren. L’ultimo lavoro in studio della band è El Dorado, uscito per la Fantasy Records lo scorso gennaio.
