Grace Carter ha iniziato a scrivere canzoni durante le giornate trascorse a scuola e all’età di 14 anni già le interpretava in pubblico. Un anno dopo ha trasformato la sua camera in uno studio di registrazione improvvisato, si è iscritta al Music College e ha imparato a suonare il pianoforte guardando video su YouTube.
Le sue canzoni, ispirate dalla musica di artisti del calibro di Lauryn Hill e Nina Simone, hanno una scrittura potente che mostra maturità emotiva e musicale e colpisce nel profondo l’ascoltatore.
Nella primavera del 2018 ha pubblicato il suo EP di debutto “Why Her Not Me”.
