Il prossimo 3 ottobre esce l’album live “Unplugged 20th Anniversary” di Alicia Keys della storica performance agli MTV Unplugged, in versione doppio vinile deluxe. Questa speciale edizione celebra i vent’anni dal concerto intimo registrato dal vivo il 4 luglio 2005 alla Brooklyn Academy of Music.
La performance originale di Alicia Keys per MTV Unplugged è stata la prima registrazione Unplugged di un’artista donna a debuttare al numero uno in classifica, nonché il debutto più alto per una performance MTV Unplugged dai tempi dei Nirvana del 1994.
L'edizione del ventesimo anniversario riporta quella performance su vinile, celebrando i classici di “Songs in A Minor“ (leggi qui la recensione) e “The Diary of Alicia Keys” (leggi qui la recensione) insieme a una cover di “Every Little Bit Hurts” di Brenda Holloway.
L'album includerà il medley di “Goodbye/Butterflyz” e la bonus track “How Come You Don't Call Me” registrata durante l’esibizione per MTV Unplugged e disponibile per la prima volta in vinile.
