Venue
The Museum has a remarkable collection of sculpture and works of art. It occupies an impressive building built for the Capitano del Popolo in the mid-13th century, which later became the seat of the Podestà and Council of Justice.
Accessibility
Pavement is joined to pedestrian crossing; the rooms of the museum are fully accessible, the different levels are accessible by ramps (some steep, but staff are available for assistance) and lifts (conforming to regulations). Some doorways may have a slight bump.
Access to the Michelangelo room is via the bookshop or from Via della Vigna Vecchia. The exit is the same.
