Teatro dell'Opera di Roma

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma is planning the years ahead by featuring important works, coming from different artistic and historical periods, performed by outstanding artists known for their contemporary and yet innovative creative power. A programme featuring nine operas, along with an increased number of ballet performances, and eight new productions. In addition there is the powerful contribution of our music director, Michele Mariotti, who is planning three new productions in the season, a further two touring operas, and two concerts.
On top of that we have to mention along with closer cooperations with important network of prestigious Italian and international theatres with which we intend to realise innovative and creative projects. To complement and enrich our opera programme, concerts will also be performed again with the aim to promote the talent of our artistic ensembles.
