The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma is planning the years ahead by featuring important works, coming from different artistic and historical periods, performed by outstanding artists known for their contemporary and yet innovative creative power. A programme featuring nine operas, along with an increased number of ballet performances, and eight new productions. In addition there is the powerful contribution of our music director, Michele Mariotti, who is planning three new productions in the season, a further two touring operas, and two concerts. On top of that we have to mention along with closer cooperations with important network of prestigious Italian and international theatres with which we intend to realise innovative and creative projects. To complement and enrich our opera programme, concerts will also be performed again with the aim to promote the talent of our artistic ensembles.

La regia di Livermore stupenda con le proiezioni alle spalle! Fantastico il direttore, ogni volta che rivedo Aida mi affascina. Commoventi i due amanti, brivido. Poi tutto dentro il Circo Massimo. Alla destra la Domus Flavia! Viva Verdi e viva Roma!

Excerpt for the visuals that gave out shortly after the second half…and only came back in the remaining 15-20 min. Too bad. Stunning visuals (when working). Interesting to show the screens in black/which with an aged filter. Wish the cast, like Aida or her father, were people of color. Fantastic singing, nonetheless, and especially Amneris’ singing-acting. Superb production. First time hearing/seeing it in its entirety. Grazie, Roma, per un viaggio meraviglioso!

Per in opera così lunga evento é stato fantastico perché era molto dinamico sia con il balletto che con gli effetti visivo. Faceva molto caldo ma non é colpa di nessuno, acustica top seguire il.libretto per chi non conosceva l'opera utile ma a volte troppo illuminati e si perdeva la magia del palco.
