La ópera fue excepcional aunque las sillas son incómodas, antiguas, y en un espectáculo tan largo se nota. Tampoco tiene tienda para adquirir algún recuerdo de la ópera o del propio teatro. Aún así, mereció la pena.

For some reason the tour group leader decided to do the tour in a bilingual way covering both English and Italian commentary which was very inefficient. The pitch/ tone/storyline were not up to the mark and it lacked engagement. Overall the theatre itself needs some investment in cleaning - the curtains, sofas etc. have gathered dust and dirt and can simply be drycleaned. El edificio es una maravilla, teatro ópera esplendoroso del siglo XIX. La orquesta sonó muy bien, así como su director Jorge petrou. Los cantantes me gustaron mucho, destacando el papel de Rancatore y de Alaimo
