ABB FIA Formula E World Championship

Formula E, officially named ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, is an automobile series conceived by the International Automobile Federation dedicated exclusively to vehicles powered by electric motors.

The category, created in 2011, began on 13th September 2014, with the Beijing E-Prix, which kicked off the first championship. The series, based in the first season on the participation of identical cars with the various standardized components, saw, from the second season onwards, more manufacturers participate.
